I was sleeping while every one else was fishing. I woke up asked Dad if I could use a rod. 10# test -no leader and BAM! Took 45 minutes and 6-7 runs. I thought I was going to get spooled twice. It was awsome! He ate well to.

We ran Sportsmans Lodge and caught these on a regular basis. This one was 22#. We caught so many we never thought they might be records….oh well. Those were the days.

Again, caught on 10# test-no leader. This one was smoked for dip, we had quite a few steaks, grilled, broiled, and used in gumbo.
